Four stories showcased in this volume..
The Economy Gas run is profiled, where they yank cars from dealers, dealerships and manufacturers. We see the cars be tested, readied, and locked up for the long gruelling trip. They all do it, and we're of course pumped to find out who won, but of course, the film doesn't tell us...
Next up is a story that, believe it or not, talks about those correspondence art schools that you used to see advertised all the time. This art school looks quite legit and modern though, with people sending off kits and instructors pouring over art submissions! What fun! Look! It's Charles Schultz!
Next is a manufacturer of logs made entirely of sawdust! So, these essentially are the first of the "Duraflame" like logs we're so used to today. Neat seeing the early offshoot and production of these. They were quite popular with restaraunts apparently according to this film, but do you really need to store it beside your dishes? Yick.
The final segment is a pretty standard piece about a colonial-style hotel. Lots of friendly service, people and nice decor here!
